During the intro flight, you will be in constant contact with your pilot through communications helmets allowing the pilot to explain the process and answer any questions as you fly.
• Average new pilot training is 5-10 hours.
  Typical pilot training consists of a few hours of ground school and then 5-10 hours of in air training accompanied by a flight instructor. You will solo (while in constant radio communications with the instructor) only when you and the instructor agree you are ready.
• The factory is nearby, outside of Albany.
  The Blue Heron factory is located near Albany, in the town of Wright, New York. Expensive shipping costs can be avoided with a short drive to the factory to pick up your new aircraft in person. Comparable equipment from out of state manufactures will have shipping costs that can be in the range of $400.00.
